New policy

Chinese Embassy just made an announcement about the adjustment for the requirment of applications. Now it's a little more complicated to get any types of China Visa. The new policy requirs all the applicant provide their iteneary and hotel reservation. It's not that much more difficult to get these two documents, it just more complex for us, the visa agent to process our orders. I haven't see any updates from their official website yet, but I am putting an eye on it.
will make more update later.

China Tourism(L) Visa Guide and Instruction

China has thousands of years of history, making her a mysterious and wondrous destination for many tourists. After joining the World Trade Organization, the Chinese Government has opened China's Gate more widely than ever before to welcome these friendly people from all over the world. The procedure to obtain a Chinese Visa is easier than you think, especially for tourism.

To go to China for sightseeing or touring, you will need a Tourism Visa, also known as the L visa. Tourism Visa is the easiest visa to get, applicants don't need any special documents to support the application. For U.S citizens, only a Valid Passport and a completed China Visa Application Form are needed. The visa is similar to a sticker which is stamped onto your passport.(please make sure to have at least one blank page available for this) The China Visa Application Form needs to be completed by every applicant. It has to be signed on the second page, and a 2"x2" passport photo must also be attached to the Form. Make sure to have everything filled out correctly, it can be typed or hand written. The Chinese Consulate Officer will check every field before issuing the Visa. If, for some reason, your application doesn't go through, you will be denied from getting a China Visa. But don't worry, situations like this happens very rarely. You can still resubmit the Visa Application Form after you fixed the problem or provided related documents.

For residents who live in the U.S as a foreigner, the requirement for getting a China Tourism Visa is a little different. Other than the Valid Passport, the completed China Visa Application Form, a copy of the Immigration Card is also required. If that is not what you have, you can still provide many other kinds of document to proof that you are a legal U.S resident including your U.S Visa, I94 Card...etc.

Tourism visa is the most simple one to get, no one should have any problems getting one.

Thursday, March 27, 2008

China Embassy has enforced their new policy change for China Travel Permit, Authentication, and Notarization.

New Policy Change

China Embassy now has limited the service fields that all Visa Agencies currently have. As an authorized union to serve all fifty states in the U.S, even us, Oasis China Visa Service are effected by the new rule. According to their message, now, Visa Agencies can no longer provide services for Travel Permits.

Travel Permits

Travel Permit is a type of document for these kids who are born in the U.S, but their parents are still holding China Passports as U.S residents; Or in another word, their parents have not gotten their permanent resident card yet, while they are living here as an employee, student, even tourism. Else, their kids would be eligibel to apply for a China Visa.

The new policy also effected the service areas for Autentication and Notarization.

Oasis China Visa Services has been authorized to serve all fifty states in the U.S. But now, it is only a fact for our visa services. We can no longer serve other states that are out of the Embassy's
consular jurisdiction for Authentication and Notarization.

Authentication

The Chinese Embassy and Consulates authenticate documents which are executed in the United States and will be used in China. Type of documents include: birth/death certificates, power of attorney, marriage certificates, diplomas, adoption application papers, business license, etc.
